Alisha Mohamed-Kassam - Physiotherapist, Clinic Director PT, MScPT, CAFCI
Alisha graduated with her Masters in Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2012. She also completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. Alisha is also certified to practice biomedical dry needling and acupuncture. Some of Alisha's future career endeavors include becoming certified for spinal and peripheral manipulations. Before beginning her physical therapy training, Alisha worked as an Exercise Therapist, as well as a trainer and coach for multiple men's, women's, and youth ball hockey teams. Dr. Allykhan Lila - Clinic Director, Chiropractor DC
Dr. Lila was born in Dar-Es-Saalam, Tanzania and moved to Calgary at a young age where he spent most of his life. After completing his high school education, he moved to Winnipeg, MB where he spent time studying in the field of Microbiology. To further his education he went to Toronto, ON to complete his chiropractic training at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He graduated with clinical honors and was on the Dean’s List for academic excellence. Dr. Lila uses an evidence-based, diversified approach to care that includes manual therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, instrument assisted manipulation, myofascial release therapy, and numerous other modalities to help his patients achieve optimal function and health. Dr. Lila has a special interest in working with all individuals struggling with complex conditions, pain, and dysfunction. Dr. Lila is passionate about the overall health and wellbeing of his patients. Not only does he treat his patients with the best care possible, but he also educates them on their ailments and how to take preventative measures. Dr. Lila is a member of the Alberta College of Chiropractors and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. Meghan Murphy - Physiotherapist PT, MSc.PT, BSc.
Meghan grew up in Calgary competing in dance, Kyokushin Karate, tennis, and rugby. As a result of her active upbringing, she had her own personal experiences with physical therapy, inspiring her to pursue physical therapy as a career. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Physiology at the University of Calgary before earning her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Meghan believes in working with patients to achieve their goals, and empowering them to have an active role in their rehabilitation. Her approach to physical therapy is grounded in strong manual therapy skills combined with education and individualized exercise prescription. She ensures patients have the tools and preventative strategies they need to both recover, and prevent recurrent injury.
She has taken a special interest in pelvic health. She has completed a course in pelvic health and treating urinary incontinence, and her future plans include pursuing pelvic health physical therapy as a specialization through further coursework and mentorship. In her spare time, Meghan loves to be outside hiking, playing tennis, and travelling as much as possible.
Tammy Kwan - Physiotherapist (Coverage) PT
Tammy Kwan is a physiotherapist at Momentum Health. Tammy recently sold her activewear business and has returned to her physiotherapy profession as an intern after several years of raising her family and running her business. Tammy graduated from the University of Alberta and has 15 years of previous clinical orthopaedic experience. Her focus has been on manual therapy and needling to assist clients return back to their daily activities and enjoying their sports. She believes that treatment should consist of a combination of manual therapy to help clients reduce their pain and patient exercise, stretching and education.
She attained certifications for manipulations (Part B Manual Therapist), IMS (Dry Needling) and Acupuncture before her "break" from physiotherapy. She is working towards reinstating those restricted activities with the support of the great team at Momentum Health over the next year. Her strengths include helping patients progress and decrease their pain and improve body mechanics. When patients invest their time and energy with Tammy to get themselves better, she sees it as a privilege and that makes her happy.
Tammy is a Calgarian raising her four kids. She enjoys playing squash, badminton, golf and the piano. She would love to get any tips on her game (all of them) and how to deal with four teenagers. Tammy looks forward to meeting all of you.
Leo Chau - Physiotherapist (Coverage) BSc., MScPT
Leo attained a Master degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor degree in Kinesiology with an ergonomics specialization from the University of Waterloo. With a unique combination of strong backgrounds in anatomy, biomechanics, ergonomics, and sports, he is an expert at helping you achieve maximum physical potential. Leo believes in simplicity and efficiency to achieve the best outcomes, using an evidence-based approach with minimal use of special equipment. Jon-Michael Bertoli - Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Jon-Michael was born and raised in the beautiful Okanagan city of Kamloops, British Columbia where he played a variety of competitive sports such as hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball. In 2010, working as a labourer for his grandparent's construction company, Jon-Michael decided that he wanted to pursue a different career path. In deciding, he chose massage because he had watched his father’s body deteriorate from working in the construction industry and wanted to eventually help him. In 2011, moved to Calgary to attend school for massage therapy. Jon-Michael is passionate about making a difference in people's lives and helping clients achieve their goals. He believes in treating the cause of each patients’ concerns to alleviate or eliminate the symptoms by using a variety of techniques that he has learned not only in school but in his own practice. Also as a part of the treatment he provides his clients with a very detailed home care regiment such as stretching and strengthening exercises and the use of hot and cold therapy to increase the efficiency of treatment. He provides a welcoming, safe and relaxing environment for treatment. When he isn’t working or spending time with family and friends, Jon-Michael enjoys cooking, working out, yoga, and walking his puppy Lola.
Susan Olson - Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Susan attended school at Lethbridge College. She has been a massage therapist for 12 years and specializes in deep tissue and relaxation massage. Susan enjoys performing prenatal massages and also performs some reflexology. She aims to complete ongoing education courses every year. Outside of work, Susan loves her two cats and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Katja Ruohio - Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Katja graduated from the massage program at Mount Royal University in June 2009. She does various types of massage including Deep Tissue, Therapeutic/Sports Massage, Myofascial Cupping, TMJ, Prenatal, and some relaxation. She tends to specialize more in Deep Tissue, Therapeutic/Sports Massage, and Myofascial Cupping. She looks forward to extending her knowledge about massage and finding new ways in which she is able to help others. Brendan Warawa - Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist B.Kin, CAT(C)
Brendan completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal University. Brendan has worked with a wide variety of athletes, weekend warriors, and sports teams, specifically the U of C’s basketball and hockey programs. Brendan has a true passion for helping people return to their highest level of activity and meeting individual goals. In his spare time, Brendan enjoys spending time with his family, friends, camping, fishing, hiking, and anything else that gets him outdoors.
Liam Kennell - Kinesiologist BSc in Exercise Science
Liam was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia. He received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Southern Utah University in 2019. Liam was awarded a full athletic scholarship to Southern Utah University. He was able to represent SUU in Cross-Country and Track in the NCAA Division 1 while also being able to represent Canada internationally on two occasions. Liam is extremely motivated to gain more clinical experience with clients and learn from his colleagues. During his free time, Liam enjoys hiking, strength training, running, traveling with friends, and continuing his studies towards CSEP-CEP certification.
Rebecca Brady - Kinesiologist (Coverage) BKin, CSEP-CPT
Rebecca graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2018, and previously worked at Momentum Health as a Kinesiologist before returning to school in 2019. Rebecca also obtained her CSEP-CPT personal training certificate during her time between degrees. Currently, Rebecca is working on her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and will complete her studies in December 2021. She is passionate about exercise and health and enjoys mountain biking, running, snowboarding, and hiking whenever she can. Rebecca is excited to continue working with the Momentum Health team to ensure patients meet their rehabilitation goals, and to obtain more experience in the field while studying to become a physical therapist.
Kirsten Franssen - Office Manager
Kirsten was born and raised in Calgary and has worked in the healthcare field since graduating with her medical office administration diploma in 2013. Kirsten brings many years of customer service and patient care experience with her. She is looking forward to building a rapport with the Ogden patients; engaging with them to ensure every visit is a positive experience. In her free time, Kirsten can be found spending time exploring the Rockies with her family and dogs.
Reiann San Pedro - Office Administrator
Rei was born in the Philippines but moved here at a young age. She developed a love for the health care field from family who have worked in the field for many years. Rei graduated from the Licensed Practical Nursing program in 2019, and on top of working for Momentum Health Ogden, she also works at Peter Lougheed in a Hematology/Oncology unit as a nurse. She is wanting to go back to school to eventually complete her Registered Nursing degree in hopes to work in the Emergency Department. Rei looks forward to meeting and working with practitioners, as well as patients to get them back to where they use to be, if not, better.
Tessa Hromyk - Office Administrator
Tessa graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education with a major in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University. She is on route to certification as a Canadian Athletic Therapist come November. In the meantime, she is thrilled to be with our Ogden clinic family. In her spare time, she spends every chance she gets in her small mountain town with her dogs or on the rugby pitch playing, coaching, and working.
Alicia Smith - Office Administrator

Alicia was born and raised in Calgary and has worked in both the healthcare and hospitality industry since graduating with her medical office administration diploma in 2014. Alicia has a lot of customer service experience and enjoys interacting with patients and getting to know everyone! On her off time she enjoys watching and playing sports. She plays a lot of baseball in the spring, summer and fall. In the winter you can catch her cheering on the Calgary Flames! She also loves hanging out with her dogs, son and husband.
