

Tammy Kwan, Physiotherapist PT
Tammy Kwan is a physiotherapist at Momentum Health. Tammy recently sold her activewear business and has returned to her physiotherapy profession as an intern after several years of raising her family and running her business. Tammy graduated from the University of Alberta and has 15 years of previous clinical orthopaedic experience. Her focus has been on manual therapy and needling to assist clients return back to their daily activities and enjoying their sports. She believes that treatment should consist of a combination of manual therapy to help clients reduce their pain and patient exercise, stretching and education.
She attained certifications for manipulations (Part B Manual Therapist), IMS (Dry Needling) and Acupuncture before her "break" from physiotherapy. She is working towards reinstating those restricted activities with the support of the great team at Momentum Health over the next year. Her strengths include helping patients progress and decrease their pain and improve body mechanics. When patients invest their time and energy with Tammy to get themselves better, she sees it as a privilege and that makes her happy.
Tammy is a Calgarian raising her four kids. She enjoys playing squash, badminton, golf and the piano. She would love to get any tips on her game (all of them) and how to deal with four teenagers. Tammy looks forward to meeting all of you.

Sean Sloan, Physiotherapist BSc., BScPT, CmedAcc, GTT practitioner
Sean attained his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2001 and over his 20 years of clinical practice has worked in a variety of settings. His experiences as a physio have included working for the Canadian military, working in multidisciplinary chronic pain clinics, sports and orthopedic settings as well as supporting multiple collegiate and junior sports teams. He previously owned his own practice in Northwestern Ontario which included contracted home care work, pediatric school support programing, neurodevelopmental pediatric work and an orthopedic caseload. In 2017 he returned to Alberta to be closer to family and the ski hills. Areas of clinical interest include assisting patients with complex and chronic musculoskeletal conditions managed through manual therapy, dry needling, patient education and progressive exercise as well as providing pediatric care for Developmental Coordination Disorder. He has a strong passion for teaching and is an active Physio student preceptor and mentor to newer therapists.

Jillian Ball, Physiotherapist MScPT, BKin (Hons)
Jillian is a born and raised Calgarian who completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with honours and a minor in dance at the University of Calgary in 2020. She then completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Jillian has been an avid dancer from a young age, which sparked her passion for injury prevention and the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. In addition to private practice, Jillian has experience practicing in critical care, in-patient hospital, tertiary rehabilitation, and outpatient neuro rehabilitation settings. Utilizing evidence-informed individualized therapeutic exercise programs, client education, and manual therapy, Jillian is dedicated to helping her client’s move better and feel better. In her spare time, Jillian enjoys a variety of artistic pursuits (including drawing and playing the flute), as well as reading, hiking, bike riding, and watching Netflix with her cat, Jet.

Erin Swinton, Physiotherapist MScPT, BHSc
Erin was born and raised in Calgary and recently made Calgary her permanent home after completing her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2021. Erin’s passion for maintaining an active lifestyle and interest in health and wellness has led her down the path to becoming a physiotherapist. Erin is a firm believer that movement enriches our lives and is a fundamental modality to enhance physical and mental health. Her goal is to help clients gain a deeper understanding of their bodies and provide them personalized, active and evidence-based rehabilitation programs that is consistent with their lifestyle and goals. Erin strives to empower her clients to take charge of their own recovery and get back to the activities they love.
Erin started her physiotherapy career in private practice and gained valuable experience working with equestrian athletes of various disciplines, most notably showjumpers, dressage riders and barrel racers. Erin has 12 years of experience in the show jumping world, competing across Western Canada. She is eager to work with fellow equestrians to help them perform and excel in the sport that she loves. She is also eager and experienced with working with clients with workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries and concussion.
Most recently, Erin has made an exciting career change to gain experience working with patients with neurological injuries including stroke, brain injury and spinal cord injury.
When she is not in the clinic, you can find her enjoying our beautiful backyard hiking, horseback riding, backpacking, skiing and mountain biking.

Monika Sohal, Kinesiologist BKin
Monika graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2019. She has been affiliated with Momentum Health since 2017 in volunteer and full time roles. She now does Kinesiologist coverage across our clinics in Calgary. She is currently completing her Master in Kinesiology in the Clinical Kinesiology stream at UBC to enhance her knoweldge about the field and to better serve her patients. Monika is passionate about preventative exercise and enjoys working with populations of all ages and backgrounds. When not at work, Monika enjoys spending time in nature, playing with her puppy Milo and going to the gym.

Harman Sidhu, Kinesiologist BKin
Harman Sidhu is a recent graduate of the Doctor of Physiotherapy program at Bond University in Australia. He is currently in line to get accredited in Canada and continue practicing as a physiotherapist. He completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary in 2019. His interest lies in musculoskeltal physiotherapy. Harman spends his free time playing with his Rottweiler Bane and enjoying the outdoors.

Kora Michael, Kinesiologist BHPE
Kora recently graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University, Scotland and is currently awaiting to get accredited in Canada to start her career as a Physiotherapist. She completed a Bachelor of Physical Literacy at Mount Royal University in 2018 and previously worked with Momentum Health as a kinesiologist before moving to Scotland. Kora spends most of her off days in the mountains whether it be skiing in the backcountry, hiking, rock climbing, camping, wildlife photography, and skijoring/bikejoring with her dogs Meeka and Tak Tak.

Erin Myers, Office Administrator
Erin was born in Saskatoon and grew up in BC before moving to Calgary. She spent 10 years working with children before finding her path to health and wellness. She has spent the last 5 years working in clinical settings. Erin found that supporting clients and practitioners was her passion and her niche. Erin is committed to providing a customer service experience above and beyond. She enjoys connecting with clients and helping each one to find the care they're looking for.
Erin is an artist at heart, she paints in her free time and runs a small side business painting and drawing on commission. Erin enjoys swimming, yoga, reading and is a movie fanatic. She lives in a cozy apartment with her boyfriend and two cats, Fergus and Mico.

Tara Russell, Office Administrator
Tara was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta and later moved to Calgary to pursue her culinary career after graduating with a culinary diploma. After many years she switched careers and started her journey into the healthcare field. She then graduated with a Medical Office Assistant certificate, and is currently pursuing her LPN education. In the winter, Tara enjoys staying out of the cold and beading and sewing different kinds of native regalia and jewellery. In the summer, you can find her in the mountains and hiking the Alberta trails.

Kellie Newell, Office Administrator
Kellie loves to meet new people and do her best to make their day just a bit better! She strives to always have a warm and energizing attitude, both while at work and at home. She graduated in 2020 and has been gaining experience in a variety of workplaces, through this she has found that her passion lies where she is helping people. Kellie has severe nerve damage to her shoulder from a birth injury and has plenty of personal experience in the medical world. This has made her especially compassionate to the struggles that others are facing themselves. Outside of work Kellie loves art in many different mediums, most recently she is practicing drawing digitally!

Emily Hintz, Office Administrator
Emily grew up in Calgary Alberta. She is currently a student pursuing a diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant at SAIT. Emily grew up playing a variety of sports but fell in love with the game of soccer. Her love of sports has enhanced her passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
When not at the clinic, you can find Emily hiking with her dog Zoey, trying a new fitness class or enjoying time with friends and family.
Matthew Wong, Parks Kinesiologist/Coverage Kinesiologist/Coverage Office Administrator BSc Kin
Matt is a graduate from the University of Calgary with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology, majoring in Mind Sciences. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Matt's natural passion in human sciences is shown through his active lifestyle. From playing competitive baseball for the university team, to recreationally playing ice hockey and tennis. Matt also enjoys the team dynamic within the clinical setting, always striving to make the experiences of both the coworkers and clients as positive as possible.
