Dr. Brad Fujimoto, Chiropractor, Clinic Director DC
Dr. Brad Fujimoto grew up in the quaint town of Fernie, British Columbia. After high school he pursued further education at the University of Lethbridge where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Brad then ventured to Toronto where he studied at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2005. After graduating, Dr. Brad came to Calgary and practiced with Advantage Health and Symon's Valley Chiropractic for several years before joining the Momentum Health team. Dr. Brad is passionate about the health and wellbeing of his patients and takes the time to educate them of their ailments. He has many tools that he encompasses in his practice such as medical acupuncture, nutritional counselling, soft tissue therapy and many other modalities that will bring his patients back to optimal health. Dr. Brad is a registered member of the Alberta College of Chiropractors and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. Dr. Brad welcomes new patients and former patients alike and is looking forward to helping his patients feel their best.
Russ Gothard, Physiotherapist PT, MScPT
Russ finished his undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Victoria prior to completing his Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. In between, he lived and traveled around the world including spending a few years in Naples, Italy, where he worked alongside Canadian Armed Forces members and their families. Russ is certified in Functional Dry Needling and Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) and uses these tools and others to take a big-picture exercise-based approach to movement analysis and rehabilitation. Outside of work, Russ enjoys playing music, reading, being outdoors as much as possible when it’s warm and staying active in interesting ways.
Kieran Liew, Physiotherapist MScPT, BSc.Kin
Kieran received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Toronto in 2018. Kieran’s passion for physiotherapy began after her own experience rehabilitating a shoulder injury she sustained as a varsity swimmer. Since graduating, she has completed courses in pelvic floor physiotherapy, pre and post natal care, Functional Dry Needling, and has completed her Level I Manual Therapy Certification. This training allows her to treat bowel and bladder incontinence, dyspareunia (painful intercourse), diastasis recti, and pelvic pain during pregnancy. Her passion lies in supporting women during their pregnancies, preparing for labour and delivery, and assisting in pelvic floor rehab after birth.
Kieran’s approach to rehabilitation is client-centred; she utilizes exercise, manual therapy, and education to help her clients remember the joy they feel when moving their body. As a dedicated lifelong learner, she plans to complete additional courses in manual therapy and pain science. In her spare time, Kieran enjoys hiking, climbing, and playing with any dogs she encounters.
Rebecca Corbett, Physiotherapist MPT, BKin
Rebecca graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy, where she previously received a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Psychology. Rebecca has also earned her Level 1 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy certification. Rebecca’s treatment approach is focused on movement retraining and exercise prescription, as she is a strong believer in the body’s ability to heal through exercise and movement. She also utilizes a variety of hands-on, manual therapy and soft tissue techniques to facilitate your recovery process. Rebecca is passionate about empowerment through education, and will ensure you walk out of the clinic with an understanding of your injury and rehabilitation process. Rebecca was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, where she grew up playing high-level soccer and softball, as well as dancing competitively. These days, when not in the clinic, you can find her running outdoors, playing tennis, trying a new fitness class, or exploring the beautiful backcountry of Alberta.
Sarah Fedun, Physiotherapist PT, FCAMPT, MPT, MCIScPT, BScBio, cGIMS
Sarah graduated from the University of Victoria in 2001 with her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended the University of Western Ontario where she completed her Master of Physical Therapy in 2004. Sarah returned to Western to complete her Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Physical Therapy in 2014 which allowed her to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). She is also certified in Gunn IMS needling (cGIMS). Sarah has lived in many provinces around the country but has found her home in Alberta and has spent most of her time working in orthopaedics and private practice in the Calgary and Cochrane areas. Sarah enjoys treating a variety of clientele from the young to elderly. She loves to use education as well as her hands (manual therapy), exercise prescription and needling when indicated, to help her clients maximize their function. Sarah feels it is important to use her clinical reasoning skills to determine and treat the underlying cause of the problem. Since 2015, she has been mentoring fellow physiotherapists and for 5 years worked with the SAOU assisting and instructing in the manual therapy teaching system. In her spare time Sarah enjoys skiing, mountain biking, travelling, and spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.
Dr. Scott Nicol, Chiropractor DC, MSc, BScKin
Dr. Scott Nicol was raised in Kelowna, BC and moved to Calgary after high school to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. During that time, Scott had the privilege of competing as a varsity Track and Field middle distance runner where he won numerous CIS medals, set a school record and was the team captain for his final three years. Dr. Nicol then moved to Portland, OR where he graduated from the University of Western States with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree as well as his Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Science. Dr. Nicol uses an evidence-based, diversified approach to care that includes a number of different techniques to aid his patients. Along with manual therapy, he uses Graston, Activator methods, numerous modalities and is full body certified in Active Release Technique (ART®). Dr. Nicol has a keen interest in working with all individuals struggling with pain or dysfunction and is eager to provide long-lasting relief, helping all his patients reach optimal health.
Dr. Damen Jodoin, Chiropractor DC
Damen was born and raised in the small town of Brockville, ON. He became interested in the science of human movement and pursued a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Canada in 2007. Damen continued his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he graduated in 2014.
Outside of work, Damen enjoys anything and everything motorcycle related, so feel free to strike up a conversation that involves riding. He also enjoys weight lifting at the gym and loves to talk about emerging research and practices.
Christina Ergang, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Christina Ergang is from Calgary Alberta. She has been working as a massage therapist for ten years and continues to love her profession. Christina graduated from Foothills College of Massage Therapy in 2004 after completing a 2200 hour advanced massage therapy course. Christina is a member in good standing with the Natural Health practitioners of Canada Association and has been since 2003. She specializes in therapeutic and relaxation massage and incorporates cranial sacral, myofascial, shiatsu, and reflexology techniques into her treatments which she has learned from different work shops. Christina is certified in contemporary cupping, advanced cupping, and cupping for sinus problems through the International cupping therapy association. In her spare time, she enjoys bike riding and martial arts.

Sarah Bischke has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2002. Originally from BC, she moved out to Calgary to work as a Physiotherapy Assistant and went on to complete the 2200 hour Massage Therapy program at Foothills College of Massage Therapy in 2002. Sarah is a member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada(NHPC). She specializes in a variety of massage therapy styles and techniques including therapeutic, relaxation, pre & post natal, myofascial release and sports massage. Sarah has worked with the team at Momentum Health for many years and values the multidisciplinary approach they offer. She enjoys yoga, running, strength training and hiking & camping with her husband and two young children.
Masayo Kawai, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Masayo was born and raised in Japan. She moved to Calgary 5 years ago after living in the United State for 11 years with her husband and 2 daughters. Masayo has been working in the holistic health and wellness industry as a Certified Yoga Instructor for years. After many years of teaching, she realized that she desired a more in-depth understanding of how the body works in order to reduce the risk of injury and help with recovery in her clients. After visiting Thailand to take a course in Traditional Thai massage she became fascinated with hands on healing touch which helps physically and psychologically. After that Masayo decided to go to school at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2017 as a 2200 hour Registered Massage Therapist. Masayo is a member in good standing with Remedial Massage Therapists of Association. When she is not working, Masayo likes practicing Yoga daily to change her life in a positive way. Masayo is grateful to be able to share her passion and help others.
Stephanie McKay-Scharfl, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Stephanie was born and raised in Saskatoon. After graduating from Western College of Remedial Massage in Regina, she ventured west to Calgary where she has spent several years practicing as a massage therapist in chiropractic clinics as well as owned a multidimensional health clinic of her own. Stephanie practices relaxation and therapeutic massage, trigger point therapy and myofascial work to help achieve true balance and healing. Stephanie has consistently demonstrated her dedication to people and is pleased to be a part of the team at Momentum Health.
Binxiang (Dee) Wang, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Before becoming a new Canadian, Binxiang was a physician in China for 15 years in a hospital setting. Helping patients feel better bringing them to the path of health seemed like the most rewarding job in the world. Binxiang Wang graduated from Makami college in 2016. She practiced and kept continuing her education for an additional 5 years. After she graduated from The National Academy of Osteopathy in 2018, she integrated a wide range of techniques into her practice. Deep tissue integrated manual therapy, muscle work, scan tissue work, advanced fascial release and joint mobilization. In addition to providing gentle hands-on care, Binxiang provides craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation. Her depth of skill in many integrated techniques helps her resolve client problems. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with families and friends.

Grace Wang, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Grace began her career in health as a physician in China for more than 10 years. In 2013, she arrived in Calgary, where she completed the 3000hr diploma program from Makami College and graduated in 2015.
As a treatment-focused therapist, she specializes in relaxation, therapeutic and deep massages (including stress relief, fatigue, headache, neck, shoulders and back pain). Her modalities include Swedish relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, prenatal, hot stone, dynamic cupping, trigger point massage and foot reflexology.
Thanks to years of study and diligent work, she has developed a hard-working, yet adaptable and easy-going personality.
In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family.
Nichapa Wichaidit, Registered Massage Therapist RMT

Nichapa is a 4,450 hour educated RMT originally from Thailand, who moved to Calgary in 2012. Nichapa has extensive experience, including Thai Traditional massage, Reflexology foot detox, Aromatherapy, Swedish & Balinese Relaxation techniques, Sport massage and Hot Stone Therapy. As a past head of RMT training and with clinical experience in both spa and clinic settings, Nichapa proudly describes her technique in her own words as “East meets West!”
She loves to learn and would like to continue branching out to gain more skills and knowledge in alternative health care. In her spare time, she loves yoga, precious family time, outdoor adventures such as hiking or anything that allows her to be in nature, whenever possible.
Some of her specialties are: combined Therapeutic and Relaxation massage; Deep Tissue and Thai Yoga; treating sciatica, lower back, pelvic, neck and shoulder conditions; TMJD; abdominal and digestive issues as well as pregnancy massage. She also enjoys treating headaches or migraines with face/head acupressure massage and Gua Sha Facial massage.
Tharinya (Trina) Mahawang, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Trina’s journey in health and wellness started with a Thai Traditional massage course in Thailand, 2012. After she moved to Calgary, she continued to study massage and graduated from The Professional Institute of Massage Therapy and registered with CMMOTA. She is trained in Swedish massage, therapeutic, deep tissue massage, Myofascial release, herbal compress, cupping, and hot stone massage.
She believes that massage therapy is a powerful way to heal, and each treatment is very unique for each client to balance body, mind and well being.
In her spare time, she likes to go camping, practice yoga, and spend time with family and friends.
William (Bill) Bienz, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
William "Bill" Bienz has worked in therapeutic rehabilitation throughout his entire career and he's been a registered massage therapist in Alberta since 2006. He specializes in therapeutic massage and has certifications in cold laser therapy, cupping, Dynamic Brain Health, and reflexology. His goal is to take care of people in the long term, get them better, and maintain that health over time.
Originally from the United States, Bill moved to Canada in 2006 and has lived happily with his wife and children in Airdrie since 2007. When not at work, he can be found enjoying the Alberta ballet, gardening, and arguing with people who believe that "Star Wars" is better than "Star Trek."
Megan Fishley, Student Therapist
Megan was born in Calgary and has lived here her whole life. For the past 3 years, Megan worked at an Optometry clinic and developed an interest in health and the human body. She went on to pursue a 2200-hour degree in massage therapy at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Calgary and is graduating November 2021. She has learned many techniques, such as Swedish massage, joint-play, stretching techniques, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy and therapeutic massage. She has been passionate about doing things hands-on from a young age and is skilled in many areas like drawing, painting, and playing piano. She is excited to work with her hands through massage and to continue to learn and grow her skills more to provide many treatment options massage therapy has to offer.

Jasmine Tharagan, Kinesiologist BSc Kin
Jasmine recently obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, where she pursued her interests in kinesiology and sport medicine after participating in competitive swimming and field hockey throughout her youth. As a new graduate from the class of 2021, she is excited to develop her clinical skills by working alongside physiotherapists and kinesiologists in the field. Jasmine encourages an educational approach to rehabilitation and recovery. Jasmine enjoys being active by hiking with her dog, swimming, and going to the gym.
Karissa Nolin, Kinesiologist BHPE
Karissa pursued her post-secondary education with a Bachelors in Health and Physical Education, majoring in Physical Literacy at Mount Royal University. After taking interest in athletics and sports medicine at a young age, Karissa is excited to put her passion and education to use and keep gaining knowledge in the industry. She is passionate about staying active and when Karissa is away from work, you can find her busy hiking, kayaking, or playing volleyball.
Dr. Jessica Fujimoto, Naturopathic Doctor ND
Dr. Jessica completed a four-year undergraduate program in Anatomy and Cell biology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003, and studying the human body in great depth furthered her desire to pursue a career in healthcare. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto in 2007 and moved to Calgary where she started working in multi-disciplinary clinics. She has been a member of the AANP (Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners) now known as the CNDA (College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta) and the CAND (Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors) since December 2007. She has completed additional post-graduate training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. Dr. Jessica has a special interest in the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, using acupuncture and Chinese herbs, but also utilizes her training in botanical medicine, orthomolecular medicine and nutrition to help reach health goals.Her general practice focuses on ailments such as sleep disturbances, digestive concerns, food allergies/sensitivities, seasonal allergies, depression, anxiety, weight management and stress.
Peggy Tham, Office Manager
Peggy Tham grew up in Sudbury, Ontario. After finishing school in Ontario and graduating from the Hotel and Restaurant Management Program, she moved to Banff to work at the Banff Springs Hotel and then later moving to Calgary. With many years of experience in customer service and administration, Peggy joined the Creekside team in 2010 and is the Office Manager for our Creekside Clinic.
Obi Mezue, Assistant Office Manager
Obi came to Momentum Health Creekside in July 2014 having changed professional paths after moving from Nigeria to Calgary in 2009. She has worked in a variety of fields, which had given her the experience to serve others with compassion and understanding. Obi enjoys taking long walks and reading.

Brittany was born and raised in Calgary. She graduated from Bow Valley College with a Medical Office Assistant Certificate. Brittany enjoys working in the medical field and providing optimal care and customer service. She has a passion for fitness and training. Janice was born and raised in Calgary and graduated from Diefenbaker High. After 18 years of competing, she opened her own school of Highland dance which she operated for 17 years. Jance enjoys home improvement projects, whether inside the home or out in the yard. Janice loves to spend time with her 3 children, and 4 grandchildren.

Emily is currently a university student, pursuing a Bachelors degree. She spent most of her childhood playing a variety of sports but fell in love with the game of soccer. The love of sport has enhanced her passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Emily was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Emily is currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Emily grew up playing every sport she could so this shaped her passion for health and fitness. After graduation, Emily plans to pursue a Masters of Science in Kinesiology specializing in Nutrition and Health. In her free time, Emily enjoys going to the gym, hiking and paddle-boarding in the mountains.
