Dr. Brad Fujimoto, Chiropractor, Clinic Director DC
Dr. Brad Fujimoto grew up in the quaint town of Fernie, British Columbia. After high school he pursued further education at the University of Lethbridge where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Brad then ventured to Toronto where he studied at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2005. After graduating, Dr. Brad came to Calgary and practiced with Advantage Health and Symon's Valley Chiropractic for several years before joining the Momentum Health team. Dr. Brad is passionate about the health and wellbeing of his patients and takes the time to educate them of their ailments. He has many tools that he encompasses in his practice such as medical acupuncture, nutritional counselling, soft tissue therapy and many other modalities that will bring his patients back to optimal health. Dr. Brad is a registered member of the Alberta College of Chiropractors and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. Kieran Liew, Physiotherapist MScPT, BSc.Kin
Kieran received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Toronto in 2018. Kieran’s passion for physiotherapy began after her own experience rehabilitating a shoulder injury she sustained as a varsity swimmer. Since graduating, she has completed courses in pelvic floor physiotherapy, pre and post natal care, Functional Dry Needling, and has completed her Level I Manual Therapy Certification. This training allows her to treat bowel and bladder incontinence, dyspareunia (painful intercourse), diastasis recti, and pelvic pain during pregnancy. Her passion lies in supporting women during their pregnancies, preparing for labour and delivery, and assisting in pelvic floor rehab after birth.
Kieran’s approach to rehabilitation is client-centred; she utilizes exercise, manual therapy, and education to help her clients remember the joy they feel when moving their body. As a dedicated lifelong learner, she plans to complete additional courses in manual therapy and pain science. In her spare time, Kieran enjoys hiking, climbing, and playing with any dogs she encounters.
Rebecca Corbett, Physiotherapist MPT, BKin
Rebecca graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy, where she previously received a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Psychology. Rebecca has also earned her Level 1 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy certification. Rebecca’s treatment approach is focused on movement retraining and exercise prescription, as she is a strong believer in the body’s ability to heal through exercise and movement. She also utilizes a variety of hands-on, manual therapy and soft tissue techniques to facilitate your recovery process. Rebecca is passionate about empowerment through education, and will ensure you walk out of the clinic with an understanding of your injury and rehabilitation process. Rebecca was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, where she grew up playing high-level soccer and softball, as well as dancing competitively. These days, when not in the clinic, you can find her running outdoors, playing tennis, trying a new fitness class, or exploring the beautiful backcountry of Alberta.
Sarah Fedun, Physiotherapist PT, FCAMPT, MPT, MCIScPT, BScBio, cGIMS
Sarah graduated from the University of Victoria in 2001 with her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended the University of Western Ontario where she completed her Master of Physical Therapy in 2004. Sarah returned to Western to complete her Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Physical Therapy in 2014 which allowed her to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). She is also certified in Gunn IMS needling (cGIMS). Sarah has lived in many provinces around the country but has found her home in Alberta and has spent most of her time working in orthopaedics and private practice in the Calgary and Cochrane areas. Sarah enjoys treating a variety of clientele from the young to elderly. She loves to use education as well as her hands (manual therapy), exercise prescription and needling when indicated, to help her clients maximize their function. Sarah feels it is important to use her clinical reasoning skills to determine and treat the underlying cause of the problem. Since 2015, she has been mentoring fellow physiotherapists and for 5 years worked with the SAOU assisting and instructing in the manual therapy teaching system. In her spare time Sarah enjoys skiing, mountain biking, travelling, and spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.
Leah Bonli, Physiotherapist Intern MScPT, BKin
Leah is a recent University of Alberta Master of Physiotherapy graduate and is thrilled to be starting her career at Momentum Creekside! Born and raised in Calgary, Leah trained from a young age as a classical ballet dancer and then went on to dance professionally with the Sarasota Ballet of Florida. She decided to trade the beach in for the mountains and return to Calgary to complete her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Her background in ballet has given her a unique perspective and appreciation for therapeutic exercise and she enjoys working with everyone from weekend warriors to older adults.
Outside the clinic, Leah enjoys skiing, hiking, or golfing with friends and family.
Dr. Damen Jodoin, Chiropractor DC
Damen was born and raised in the small town of Brockville, ON. He became interested in the science of human movement and pursued a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Canada in 2007. Damen continued his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he graduated in 2014.
Outside of work, Damen enjoys anything and everything motorcycle related, so feel free to strike up a conversation that involves riding. He also enjoys weight lifting at the gym and loves to talk about emerging research and practices.
Dr. Anwar Hamdon, Chiropractor DC
Dr. Anwar Hamdon graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California, in 2017. Before studying chiropractic, he completed a bachelor’s degree in health science at Mount Royal University in Calgary in 2013. Dr. Hamdon has been trained in Diversified, Activator, and Thompson chiropractic techniques.
Dr. Hamdon has a strong belief in chiropractic as being the best choice in achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Christina Ergang, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Christina Ergang is from Calgary Alberta. She has been working as a massage therapist for over ten years and continues to love her profession. Christina graduated from Foothills College of Massage Therapy in 2004 after completing a 2200 hour advanced massage therapy course. Christina is a member in good standing with the Natural Health practitioners of Canada Association and has been since 2003. She specializes in therapeutic and relaxation massage and incorporates cranial sacral, myofascial, shiatsu, and reflexology techniques into her treatments which she has learned from different work shops. Christina is certified in contemporary cupping, advanced cupping, and cupping for sinus problems through the International cupping therapy association. In her spare time, she enjoys bike riding and martial arts.

Sarah Bischke has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2002. Originally from BC, she moved out to Calgary to work as a Physiotherapy Assistant and went on to complete the 2200 hour Massage Therapy program at Foothills College of Massage Therapy in 2002. Sarah is a member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada(NHPC). She specializes in a variety of massage therapy styles and techniques including therapeutic, relaxation, pre & post natal, myofascial release and sports massage. Sarah has worked with the team at Momentum Health for many years and values the multidisciplinary approach they offer. She enjoys yoga, running, strength training and hiking & camping with her husband and two young children.
Masayo Kawai, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Masayo was born and raised in Japan. She moved to Calgary 5 years ago after living in the United States for 11 years with her husband and 2 daughters. Masayo has been working in the holistic health and wellness industry as a Certified Yoga Instructor for years. After many years of teaching, she realized that she desired a more in-depth understanding of how the body works in order to reduce the risk of injury and help with recovery in her clients. After visiting Thailand to take a course in Traditional Thai massage she became fascinated with hands on healing touch which helps physically and psychologically. After that Masayo decided to go to school at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2017 as a 2200 hour Registered Massage Therapist. Masayo is a member in good standing with Remedial Massage Therapists of Association. When she is not working, Masayo likes practicing Yoga daily to change her life in a positive way. Masayo is grateful to be able to share her passion and help others.
Stephanie McKay-Scharfl, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Stephanie was born and raised in Saskatoon. After graduating from Western College of Remedial Massage in Regina, she ventured west to Calgary where she has spent several years practicing as a massage therapist in chiropractic clinics as well as owned a multidimensional health clinic of her own. Stephanie practices relaxation and therapeutic massage, trigger point therapy and myofascial work to help achieve true balance and healing. Stephanie has consistently demonstrated her dedication to people and is pleased to be a part of the team at Momentum Health.
Dee Wang, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Before becoming a new Canadian, Binxiang was a physician in China for 15 years in a hospital setting. Helping patients feel better bringing them to the path of health seemed like the most rewarding job in the world. Binxiang Wang graduated from Makami college in 2016. She practiced and kept continuing her education for an additional 5 years. After she graduated from The National Academy of Osteopathy in 2018, she integrated a wide range of techniques into her practice. Deep tissue integrated manual therapy, muscle work, scan tissue work, advanced fascial release and joint mobilization. In addition to providing gentle hands-on care, Binxiang provides craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation. Her depth of skill in many integrated techniques helps her resolve client problems. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with families and friends.

Grace Wang, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Grace began her career in health as a physician in China for more than 10 years. In 2013, she arrived in Calgary, where she completed the 3000hr diploma program from Makami College and graduated in 2015.
As a treatment-focused therapist, she specializes in relaxation, therapeutic and deep massages (including stress relief, fatigue, headache, neck, shoulders and back pain). Her modalities include Swedish relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, prenatal, hot stone, dynamic cupping, trigger point massage and foot reflexology.
Thanks to years of study and diligent work, she has developed a hard-working, yet adaptable and easy-going personality.
In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family.
Nichapa Wichaidit, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Nichapa (Nicha) has an astounding 4450 hrs of training as a Registered Massage Therapist. In 2002 she learned and practiced Traditional Thai Massage and Thai styles of Reflexology, which can be thought of as foot detox therapy. In 2010 she learned Aromatherapy, Swedish Relaxation, Balinese Relaxation techniques, Sports Massage, and Hot Stone Therapy. In Calgary, Nichapa acquired an additional diploma of 2,200 to become a Registered Massage Therapist in Alberta. She has experience working with several spas and clinics, incorporating further techniques of bamboo massage, cupping, and Gua Sha face treatment. Nicha has been an RMT Team Lead and instructor, bringing her "East Meet West" approach to many grateful patients. Nichapa’s patients enjoy her many specialties, including just the right amount of Deep Tissue Relaxation, combined with Thai Yoga, stretches and therapeutic sports massage.
This array of skills provides relief from chronic sciatica and nerve pain, lower back and pelvic conditions, elbow, neck and shoulder conditions, TMJ disorders (debilitating neck or jaw pain), headaches, and migraines (which benefit greatly from face/ head acupressure points, and Gua Sha therapeutic face massage).
Nichapa’s unique mixture of skills also can be beneficial for abdominal (stomach) ailments, such as digestion issues such as constipation, bloating and detoxification. Nicha also provides pregnancy treatments and reflexology for Plantar Fasciitis and more.
Nichapa loves to learn and plans to gain even more skills and knowledge in alternative health care. She loves to attend yoga and spend time with her family at home, outdoor adventures such as hiking and loves to be in nature whenever possible.
Tharinya (Trina) Mahawang, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Trina’s journey in health and wellness started with a Thai Traditional massage course in Thailand, 2012. After she moved to Calgary, she continued to study massage and graduated from The Professional Institute of Massage Therapy and registered with CMMOTA. She is trained in Swedish massage, therapeutic, deep tissue massage, Myofascial release, herbal compress, cupping, and hot stone massage.
She believes that massage therapy is a powerful way to heal, and each treatment is very unique for each client to balance body, mind and well being.
In her spare time, she likes to go camping, practice yoga, and spend time with family and friends.
Edgar Maddela, Registered Massage Therapist RMT
Edgar Maddela graduated from Mount Royal University’s Massage Therapy 2200-hour program. His admiration for massage therapy started in high school where he first felt the therapeutic effects of massage such as the release of physical and psychological stress to the body. His goal as a massage therapist is to provide service where his clients will feel more confident about themselves and to help his clients unwind from their stressors.
Edgar’s treatment style focuses on a therapeutic approach to deep tissue and Swedish relaxation massages. His go-to techniques include Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Trigger-Point Release, Myofascial Release, Stretching, and Muscle Approximation. He is looking forward to further improve his skills and education, through collaborative work and continuing education.
In his free time, he enjoys going out for walks with his dog, hiking, reading books, exercising, and gaming.
Karissa Nolin, Kinesiologist BHPE
Karissa pursued her post-secondary education with a Bachelors in Health and Physical Education, majoring in Physical Literacy at Mount Royal University. After taking interest in athletics and sports medicine at a young age, Karissa is excited to put her passion and education to use and keep gaining knowledge in the industry. She is passionate about staying active and when Karissa is away from work, you can find her busy hiking, kayaking, or playing volleyball.
Dr. Jessica Fujimoto, Naturopathic Doctor ND
Dr. Jessica completed a four-year undergraduate program in Anatomy and Cell biology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003, and studying the human body in great depth furthered her desire to pursue a career in healthcare. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto in 2007 and moved to Calgary where she started working in multi-disciplinary clinics. She has been a member of the AANP (Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners) now known as the CNDA (College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta) and the CAND (Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors) since December 2007. She has completed additional post-graduate training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. Dr. Jessica has a special interest in the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, using acupuncture and Chinese herbs, but also utilizes her training in botanical medicine, orthomolecular medicine and nutrition to help reach health goals. Her general practice focuses on ailments such as sleep disturbances, digestive concerns, food allergies/sensitivities, seasonal allergies, depression, anxiety, weight management and stress.
George Zhao, Acupuncturist R. Ac.
George Zhao is a registered acupuncturist, with a focus on the treatment of pain. He uses acupuncture to safely and effectively get his patients out of pain and back to health. He is also proficient at post-stroke rehabilitation with acupuncture.
George is board certified by the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA), and is a member of the Alberta Association of Traditional Chinese Medical Doctors (AAATCMD).
Peggy Tham, Office Manager
Peggy Tham grew up in Sudbury, Ontario. After finishing school in Ontario and graduating from the Hotel and Restaurant Management Program, she moved to Banff to work at the Banff Springs Hotel and then later moving to Calgary. With many years of experience in customer service and administration, Peggy joined the Creekside team in 2010 and is the Office Manager for our Creekside Clinic.
Emily Hintz, Office Administrator
Emily is currently a university student, pursuing a Bachelors degree. She spent most of her childhood playing a variety of sports but fell in love with the game of soccer. The love of sport has enhanced her passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle. When not at the clinic, you could find her summiting a mountain, running triathlons or competitively beating you at board games.

Emily was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Emily is currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Emily grew up playing every sport she could so this shaped her passion for health and fitness. After graduation, Emily plans to pursue a Masters of Science in Kinesiology specializing in Nutrition and Health. Tali Khalifa was born and raised in the Middle East. After moving to Calgary in 2013 he graduated from Diefenbaker High School and is currently a student at the University of Calgary pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Tali enjoys working in the medical field providing a positive customer service experience. Tali is passionate about health, sport, and fitness and he is in the gym training, coaching high school basketball kids or spending time with loved ones.
