Active Release Therapy
Active Release Technique (ART) is an advanced, patented manual hands-on type of therapy that treats damaged soft tissue and injuries.

Phonophoresis
Involves usage of ultrasound so that the drugs that are applied topically can be absorbed effectively at a faster rate.

Shockwave Therapy
A technology that introduces intense, short energy waves travelling faster than sound into the body to create a cascade of beneficial events including the promotion of tissue healing, breakdown of calcification and tissue adhesions, decrease of pain and increase of function.  Shockwave is especially beneficial for the following conditions:

Ultrasound is a therapy in which ultrasound technique is used for treating chronic pain and various kinds of disorders

Vertigo Assessment / Vestibular Rehabilitation
Our physiotherapists and chiropractors are trained to assess for the most common, and easily rehabilitated, cause of vertigo - Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). This condition occurs when the specialized crystals in the inner ear called ‘otoliths’ get displaced and begin sending incorrect signals to the brain; resulting in vertigo sensations. 

Women's Health/Pelvic Health
Pelvic health physiotherapy is a specialized physiotherapy treatment for urinary or anal/fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, lumbopelvic pain, painful intercourse (dyspareunia) and perinatal conditions. Treatment is customized to each patient and often integrates pelvic floor muscle re-training, helpful advice on bowel and bladder habits, nutrition and hands-on techniques from the therapist.

Symptoms that may be related to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction include:

-      Leaking urine when you cough laugh, sneeze or exercise

-      Leaking urine due to inability to hold urine during strong urges

-      Urinating more than 8 times a day

-      Difficulty initiating urination

-      Feeling that you have not fully emptied your bladder after urination

-      Feeling of pressure or heaviness in pelvic region

-      Straining to have a bowel movement

-      Pain during or after bowel movement

-      Pain with sexual intercourse or difficulty with penetration

-      Pelvic pain (vaginal, rectal or perineal)

-      Pelvic girdle, buttock, low back or coccyx pain
