Dr. Simons moved to Calgary in the spring of 2000. He owned and operated Penny Lane Chiropractic and Health in the downtown core from 2001 until 2006 when he joined the Advantage Health group of clinics. An avid and once competitive skier Dr. Simons spent many years as a volunteer on the Lake Louise Ski Patrol and competed in several Big Mountain Competitions. For several years he enjoyed the opportunity to work and travel with the Canadian National Snowboarding team, treating several Olympic medalists along the way. Alison Taylor - Coverage PhysiotherapistAlison is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Dalhousie university and followed that up with her Master’s of science in physiotherapy also at Dalhousie university. Alison has completed many post graduate courses including specialized running injury courses, shoulder courses, and manual therapy courses. Alison has also completed her Kinetacore Functional Dry Needling - Level 1 to help relieve pain and restore function. Alison has a passion for working with endurance athletes of any kind whether it be runners, swimmers, cyclists etc. Soft tissue injuries, repetitive strain injuries, and sports therapy are some of her specialties. Outside of work Alison is an avid runner herself and has completed 8 half marathons to date, most recently the Calgary half marathon in May! Katya Heinrich - Registered Massage TherapistKatya is fully licensed Massage Therapist and finishes her advanced 3000 hour program in December 2016 at MaKami college in Calgary. Megan brings her many years of experience in both customer service and administration to this new roll Previously she worked in the Oil & Gas Industry, obtaining her Petroleum Land Administration with Honours Certificate from S.A.I.T. and attending Bisset School of Business at Mount Royal University. Megan is enrolled in open studies at the University of Calgary for winter 2017 and plans to work toward a degree in Psychology while working at Momentum. She plans to further her education in the healthcare industry after acquiring her degree. She is obsessed with yoga and tries to get out to the mountains to snowboard as much as she can in the winter. |
