Jason Douglas - Physiotherapist, Clinic Director

Jason graduated with his Bachelors of Physical Education in 2008 and his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2011, from the University of Alberta. He worked for the Canadian Back Institute for one year, working with patients rehabilitating from spinal injuries, chronic pain and musculoskeletal sprains/strains. Jason has completed the Canadian Orthopedic Level II upper and lower quadrant training in manual therapy, as well as Level I Acupuncture and is certified in Functional Dry Needling for intramuscular stimulation (IMS).Currently, Jason specializes in the treatment of sporting injuries, rotator cuff rehabilitation, whiplash, post-surgical rehab, as well as tension headaches. Jason is also involved with high level athletics, working as the physical therapist for the Canadian National Professional Boxing welterweight champion (Steve Claggett), many of the Calgary Gymnastic Clubs Provincial and National level gymnasts, as well as mixed martial artists competitors and coaches from local gyms in Calgary.When not helping patients at our West Springs clinic, Jason enjoys snowboarding, squash, mountain biking and boxing.

Mitch Sime- Physiotherapist

Mitch graduated with a Bachelors of Science majoring in Exercise and Health Physiology in 2007 and completed his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in December 2015. Mitch is also currently working on the acute neurological wards at Foothills Medical Centre, as well as tertiary neurological rehab centers at Foothills and the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre. Mitch works largely with patients suffering from motor vehicle accidents (MVA), Worker's Compensation Board (WCB) injuries, osteoarthritis, rotator cuff injuries, low back pain, headaches, post surgical rehabilitation and sports injuries. In his off-time, Mitch enjoys biking, camping and skiing in the mountains. Mitch has remained part-time ski patrol and has enjoyed taking people from their acute injury on the ski hill, through their rehabilitation and back to the slopes.

Alison Taylor - Coverage Physiotherapist

Alison is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Dalhousie university and followed that up with her Master’s of science in physiotherapy also at Dalhousie university. Alison has completed many post graduate courses including specialized running injury courses, shoulder courses, and manual therapy courses. Alison has also completed her Kinetacore Functional Dry Needling - Level 1 to help relieve pain and restore function.  Alison has a passion for working with endurance athletes of any kind whether it be runners, swimmers, cyclists etc. Soft tissue injuries, repetitive strain injuries, and sports therapy are some of her specialties. Outside of work Alison is an avid runner herself and has completed 8 half marathons to date, most recently the Calgary half marathon in May! In the community She runs a youth running club at the local YMCA, has volunteered with the Alberta ballet, and volunteers at any sporting event possible. Alison will always strive to get the best results with her patients and is fully committed to returning her patients to a pain free and happy state!

Jennifer Kelemen - Kinesiologist

Jennifer was born and raised in Calgary. She graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2014 with her Bachelor’s of Science, majoring in Exercise Science. Jennifer loves traveling around the world with friends and family. She also likes hiking, soccer, hockey and football as well as going on road trips. After taking time off for knee surgery in October, she joined Momentum Health in mid-February of 2015.

Dr. Kent Stuber, BSc, DC, MSc - Chiropractor

Dr. Stuber was born and raised in Calgary. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular, Molecular & Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary before moving to Toronto where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with Clinic Honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2002. He graduated with a Master's of Science degree in Health and Social Care Research from the University of Sheffield in January of 2008, graduating with Distinction.
Dr. Stuber’s post graduate education courses have included Graston Technique®, Active Release Techniques®, Kinesiotaping, Low-Tech Lumbar Spinal Stabilization Training, Managing Neck Pain Conditions, Evaluation and Management of Neck and Arm Pain, courses from the Titleist Performance Institute, and Taping and Support Techniques for Sports Practitioners.
Dr. Stuber is an active health care researcher.  He is an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Graduate Education and Research at CMCC and an Associate Editor of the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association.  In 2008 he was the recipient of the Canadian Chiropractic Association's Young Investigator Award.   Dr. Stuber has published over a dozen research papers in several peer-reviewed journals including Spine, the Journal of Manipulative & Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT), the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (JCCA), the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine (JCM), Chiropractic and Manual Therapies, Chiropractic & Osteopathy, the Journal of Chiropractic Humanities, and Clinical Chiropractic on a variety of topics including: Pregnancy related low back pain management & the safety of chiropractic care during pregnancy, Diagnosis of sacroiliac joint injuries, Management of lumbar spinal stenosis, Sports injuries, biomechanics, and prevention, Supplement using for spinal arthritis, Research methods and Chiropractic continuing education.
In addition, his work has been presented at several international research conferences. He has peer reviewed for JMPT, JCM, Chiropractic & Osteopathy, and the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Research Agenda Conference.  
Most importantly, Dr. Stuber is the proud dad of Morgan and Thomas, and he is happy to be a volunteer Coach Dad whenever possible.

Dr. Caterina Lerede, BSc, DC  - Chiropractor

Dr. Caterina Lerede was born and raised in Calgary. She obtained her degree in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary in 1997 and went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic (Cum Laude) at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2002. Dr. Lerede enjoys treating a variety of patients and utilizes Diversified chiropractic technique, myofascial release/soft tissue therapies, home exercise prescription, and working with patients to develop healthy lifestyle habits to help them achieve and maintain their health goals. Dr. Lerede is a registered member of the Alberta College of Chiropractors and Canadian Chiropractic Association and a volunteer examiner with the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. She enjoys yoga, cycling, hiking and travelling with her family.

Dr. Frances Wang, ND - Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Frances Wang is a native of Taipei, Taiwan. She grew up in a family which believed in food as medicine and living a balanced life. At a young age, Dr. Frances would help her Traditional Chinese Medical doctor grandfather prepare medicine for patients. She developed a passion for the ancient healing philosophy that led to her path of pursuing natural medicine.Dr. Frances believes that there must be a holistic health care model that works in conjunction with conventional medicine. Upon completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at Tunghai University, Taiwan, her passion eventually led her to Canada to study Naturopathic Medicine; a medicine that blends evidence-based science with natural forms of medicine to deliver health care. Dr. Frances then received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver, BC.Dr. Frances is licensed through College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA) and College of Naturopathic Physician in British Columbia (CNPBC) and is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). She is also board certified in heavy metal chelation, advanced IV therapies, acupuncture, and a licensed Bowen Practitioner. She is interested in general family medicine, focusing on women’s health, digestive disorders, fatigue, stress management and insomnia, and autoimmune conditions. Dr. Frances speaks both Mandarin and English.When not working with patients, you may find Dr. Frances bicycling, hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, or traveling around the world with her husband.   

Sylvie Lappa - Registered Massage Therapist

Sylvie graduated from Foothills College of Massage Therapy in 2005. Through her technical knowledge and experience, Sylvie's daily routine includes assessment of patients, developing & implementing treatment plans from the sports injured to MVA's to helping out pre-natal Moms simply looking to sort out their back issues. Sylvie is a member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada and is licensed with the city of Calgary. As a primarily treatments based therapist, Sylvie uses Swedish massage to help release restrictions and promote circulation. Her treatments may also involve myo-fascial release, trigger point release, hydro-therapy, manual lymphatic drainage and joint mobilization to achieve deep tissue healing. By focusing on the needs and goals of her patients along with following contraindicated protocols, Sylvie is able to assist in the healing process of injuries, increase flexibility, reduce pain and improve overall quality of life.

Danny Enikan - Registered Massage Therapist

Danny completed his 2200 hour program in Massage Therapy from Mount Royal University on June 30 2014. He specializes in sport therapy, motor vehicle accident injuries, repetitive strain injuries, pre natal and post natal massage, deep tissue, relaxation and therapeutic massage. He has a passion for rehabilitation, specifically nerve compression and muscular contractures.He is a registered member with Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) and will be taking continuing education to keep up to date and add to his clinical skills.

Marjo de Wit-Presti - Registered Massage Therapist

Marjo grew up in Southwestern Ontario and graduated from The D'Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy in London Ontario in 2002. Throughout her Massage Therapy career she has worked closely with other Health Care professionals such as Physiotherapists and Chiropractors.  Passionate about helping her patients achieve and maintain optimal health and well-being, she is always upgrading and adding to her massage skill set.  She has provided Massage Therapy at National events such as the Canada Games, Tim Horton's Brier and for various sports teams. Marjo is a member of the MTAA and the CMTO and is looking forward to helping new patients achieve their optimal health. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, dog and hiking in the mountains.

Roxanne McDougall-Maton – Office Manager

Roxanne was born and raised in Calgary, and has worked with Momentum Health since 2013. She enjoys working at the front, ensuring a warm welcome and friendly finish to every visit our clients have, making them feel comfortable. Having lived in Calgary her whole life, Roxanne is eager and excited to travel at any opportunity she gets. In her free time you will find her spending time with family and friends and keeping fit.
