Alisha Mohamed-Kassam - Physiotherapist, Clinic Director

Alisha graduated with her Masters in Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2012. She also completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. Alisha is also certified to practice acupuncture. Some of Alisha's future career endeavors include becoming certified for spinal and peripheral manipulations. Before beginning her physical therapy training, Alisha worked as an Exercise Therapist, as well as a trainer and coach for multiple men's, women's, and youth ball hockey teams. Along with ball hockey, Alisha has played competitive soccer, volleyball, and basketball. She also enjoys snowboarding, skating, hiking, boxing, running, and travelling.

Bridget Pyke - Physiotherapist

Bridget was born and raised in Calgary, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Physiology at the University of Calgary. In 2015, she graduated from the Masters of Physical Therapy program at the University of Western Ontario.  As a physiotherapy student at Western, she completed an international placement in Perth, Australia, which furthered her interest in manual therapy, as well as the one-on-one approach to patient care. Bridget has a strong interest in rehabilitating running injuries, which stems from her experience as a varsity athlete on the cross country running and track and field teams at both the U of C and Western. Her plans as a new graduate include continuing education courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, and intramuscular stimulation. 

Alison Taylor - Coverage Physiotherapist

Alison is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Dalhousie university and followed that up with her Master’s of science in physiotherapy also at Dalhousie university. Alison has completed many post graduate courses including specialized running injury courses, shoulder courses, and manual therapy courses. Alison has also completed her Kinetacore Functional Dry Needling - Level 1 to help relieve pain and restore function.  Alison has a passion for working with endurance athletes of any kind whether it be runners, swimmers, cyclists etc. Soft tissue injuries, repetitive strain injuries, and sports therapy are some of her specialties.

Outside of work Alison is an avid runner herself and has completed 8 half marathons to date, most recently the Calgary half marathon in May! In the community She runs a youth running club at the local YMCA, has volunteered with the Alberta ballet, and volunteers at any sporting event possible. Alison will always strive to get the best results with her patients and is fully committed to returning her patients to a pain free and happy state!

Nick Ontkean - Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist

Nick is a Certified Athletic Therapist and graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He completed his Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy in 2014 at Mt. Royal University. Since graduating, Nick has been involved with many sport teams and athletes ranging from rugby players to ballet dancers. Nick specializes in functional rehabilitation; treating the cause of your problem to ensure your return to your activity is safe and effective in the long term. Other areas of specialty include running injury prevention and form coaching and injury prevention screening. Nick is an avid triathlete, having competed at the Age Group World level several times up - from the Olympic distance to the Half-Iron distance. Nick enjoys all activities and would be happy to help with any questions you have about training or a persistent injury you might have.

Dr. Damen Jodoin, DC - Chiropractor

Damen was born and raised in the small town of Brockville, ON.  He became interested in the science of human movement and pursued a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Canada in 2007. Damen continued his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he graduated in 2014.
Outside of work, Damen enjoys anything and everything motorcycle related, so feel free to strike up a conversation that involves riding.  He also enjoys weight lifting at the gym and loves to talk about emerging research and practices.

Jon-Michael Bertoli - Registered Massage Therapist

Jon-Michael was born and raised in the beautiful Okanagan city of Kamloops, British Columbia where he played a variety of competitive sports such as hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball. In 2010, working as a labourer for his grandparent's construction company, Jon-Michael decided that he wanted to pursue a different career path. In deciding, he chose massage because he had watched his father’s body deteriorate from working in the construction industry and wanted to eventually help him. In 2011, moved to Calgary to attend school for massage therapy. Jon-Michael is passionate about making a difference in people's lives and helping clients achieve their goals. He believes in treating the cause of each patients’ concerns to alleviate or eliminate the symptoms by using a variety of techniques that he has learned not only in school but in his own practice. Also as a part of the treatment he provides his clients with a very detailed home care regiment such as stretching and strengthening exercises and the use of hot and cold therapy to increase the efficiency of treatment. He provides a welcoming, safe and relaxing environment for treatment. When he isn’t working or spending time with family and friends, Jon-Michael enjoys cooking, working out, yoga, and walking his puppy Lola.

Kristina Wilcox - Registered Massage Therapist

Kristina graduated the Massage Therapy Program with 2200 hours from Mount Royal University in 2012. She assesses each client's individual needs and goals and then creates a thorough and personalized treatment plan. Trigger-point therapy, joint mobilization, hydrotherapy and Swedish massage are used to relax tension, increase range of motion, promote circulation and overall healing. Kristina is a Registered Massage Therapist and is licensed through the City of Calgary. She is in good standing with the National Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) and her services are covered by most extended health care providers. 

Laura Mosher- Office Manager

Laura graduated from the University of Calgary in 2011 with an honours in Bachelor of Health Sciences, majoring in Health and Society. She also completed a Masters of Social Medicine from McGill University in 2015, with a focus on the social determinants of health and how they play a role in our daily lives. Outside of education, Laura is an avid runner, a trait leftover from her competitive soccer days, and enjoys daily long distance runs. She also enjoys spending her time hiking in the mountains with her two dogs and cooking.
